Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor, is most well-known for his part in the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. At the age of 18, he began to take an interest in acting. At his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder where he enrolled in the acting program. Though he's appeared in films and on television however, it's his work in small screen productions that have given him much popularity. It is no surprise that his talent is portraying characters with both good and bad sides. Additionally, he is able to draw an audience. In his first TV series, he played the part of a murderer. He then went on to perform the role of for an NYPD Detective. Because of his appearances on smaller screens, he has received many nominations to the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as the PRISM Awards. The stunning blue eyes on his face are considered as the most attractive characteristic. Also, they are regarded as his trademark and are credited as a reason for his portrayals of people who are rough, but empathetic. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
